Welcome Message
Welcome to the website of Association of Energy Engineers Hong Kong Chapter.
First of all, to my deepest heart of wordings, I have to say thank you to all members’, directors’ and officers’ trust and nomination to me as the coming president of AEE Hong Kong Chapter. I have also to express my greatest gratitude to the Immediate Past President, Mr. Colin Chung, who has devoted his time in serving our chapter presidential position and led me to this post.
Our mission in this year will be “to shape the future of the energy industry through networking, energy awareness, education, training, professional certification and recognition”. I will lead the team to participate more on the regulatory statement setup in Hong Kong, especially on the energy related topics. We must help to develop some more aggressive and realistic energy benchmarks in order to reach the net-zero carbon emission goal. Besides, we will continue our annual reception activity so that we can enhance our industrial engineers’ bonding and communication.
Our Certification Training Programs provide the platform to improve the engineers’ technical knowledge and develop their skills. We shall continue the Accelerate Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) and Carbon Auditing Professional (CAP) training programs in the coming years. We also embed this CEM® course to the local university so that our next generation can have these environmental protection and sustainability ideas. In addition, theoretical and hands-on seminars and technical site visits will also be held. These events can consolidate our practical experience and improve our daily work quality info@aee-hkc.hk.
I will fully utilize my 2-year presidential period to serve our members and the industry. Once again, many thanks for all your support and participation.
